Euro Soccer Academy Coaches

ESA coaches competed at the highest levels and focus on speed of play and proactive thinking. We help athletes to prepare themselves for the team aspect, the development of relationships with teammates and coaches.

ESA coaches develop the following key attributes that are vital for any developing young footballer: Technical, Physical, Tactical, Psychological and Social elements.


1. Technical

We aim to develop technically excellent players with the skills and attributes to excel. Players will have the ability to create, score and prevent goals through excellence in:

  • Receiving skills
  • Turning skills
  • Travelling with the ball
  • Passing over varying distances
  • Attacking and defending skills
  • Finishing skills
  • Aerial ability


2. Physical

We aim to develop players to possess physical and athletic skills in the following areas:

  • Agility, balance, coordination
  • Speed/Speed endurance
  • Flexibility
  • Power
  • Strength
  • Nutrition and lifestyle
  • Physical resilience
  • Recovery


3. Team strategy and tactics 

We aim to develop players tactical and positonal awareness in the following areas:

  • Movement with and off the ball to achieve space and advantage of the position
  • Takes responsibility to control the pace of the game
  • Supports the player with the ball
  • Can anticipate the opposition’s counter-attack opportunities
  • Able to win the ball in a tackle (press, hold, release)



We aim to develop our players with the psychological skills and strategies to shape a winning culture and mentality.

We aim to develop reflective, resourceful and resilient players who display outstanding:

Coaches will support players on developing mental strength techniques:

  • Goal setting
  • Positive self-talk
  • Imagery and visualizing success
  • Mindfulness and relaxation
